Bob Stewart
aka Peter Elliott (Founder) SAG/AFTRA/AEA

Bob Stewart (Peter Elliott is his stage name because when he joined SAG, there was a Rob Stewart and they said he had to change his name :-) has been acting, writing and directing for the past 15 years. He is a member of SAG, AFTRA and AEA with over 50 stage credits and numerous film and television credits. In addition, he is an award-winning director of both stage and video. Vocally, he is a lyric baritone and a trained opera and musical theater performer. He was also founder and general director of the Chamber Made Opera Company in Sacramento. On the technical side, Bob has worked on well over 100 productions in many capacities for stage, television and film. His experience in producing, casting, lighting, carpentry, cameraman, grip, gaffer, chyron operator, floor director, technical director, set design and more allow him to see the big picture and provide solutions that work for multiple aspects of the entertainment industry.

He started LA Actors Online in 1997 to create a resource for actors to share their experiences with other actors. By using his substantial experience and his extensive computer skills, that idea has grown into the Now Casting, Inc of today.

Rick La Fond

Rick spent 8 years in Chicago before coming to Los Angeles. In Chicago he was fortunate enough to earn his MFA from the Godman Theatre School and perform on some pretty cool stages - Steppenwolf, Goodman, Organic. In his life before acting, Rick received two business degrees from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio - B.S. in Economics and Finance and an MBA in Marketing.

Once in LA, he landed his first day job with a small company called Showfax and suddenly his career in Actor Services took off. For the last 7 years, Rick has one way or another participated in the creation of online services for the actor and entertainment industry as a whole. He is thrilled to finally find a home where being an experienced SAG actor is valued and appreciated.

Some acting credits include: Three Shots, Trial and Error, Gang Related, Inspector Gadget, Family Matters, Murder One, Chicago Hope and many plays.

Bruno Oliver

Bruno is originally from Chicago where, after graduating form Wesleyan University, he returned to perform on numerous stages with a variety of companies from Big Game to Zebra Crossing. He has also performed at the Wisconsin and Utah Shakespeare Festivals and several theatres in Seattle. He holds a M.F.A from University of Washington's Professional Actor Training Program. Since moving to Los Angeles, Bruno has performed in a number of productions with The Sacred Fools (where he also served as Marketing Director), Zoo District, ICT and others. His acting background also includes a growing number of independent films.

Outside of Acting, Bruno found time to work his way through the restaurant business, ending that career path having managed several high powered hot-spots and consulting independently. Most recently, he held a number of positions at Castnet.com - working with actors, agents and casting directors. Bruno looks forward to finally having the opportunity to use the skills he has learned along all the paths that led to LA Actors Online.

Michael Taylor Gray

Michael has been a member of Now Casting since its beginning in 1997 and an employee since 2001. A graduate of Bowling Green State University in Ohio (BS in Secondary Education) and the California Institute of the Arts (MFA in Acting), Michael has been pursuing his acting career in the Los Angeles area since 1996. He had the distinct pleasure of being a New Yorker from '94-'96, where he "hit the boards" at some of Greenwich Village's more notorious performance spaces Upstairs At The Duplex and Rose's Turn.

From "The Foreigner" at the Huron Playhouse in Huron, Ohio to "Southern Baptist Sissies" (Zephyr Theatre), "Pageant" (Hudson Theatre) and "Judy at the Stonewall Inn" (Celebration Theatre) in Los Angeles, Michael has been in over 100 theatrical productions to date. He can also be seen on television in episodes of "Will & Grace", "Without A Trace" and "My Name Is Earl."

Michael is the office administrator at Now Casting and oversees many of the actor services that the site has to offer. He's here to help, so just ask!
